Do I need to make a reservation to tour the venue?
At Nidom, we host bridal fairs on weekends.
If you would like to visit, please reserve your preferred date and time using our dedicated reservation form. -
How long does it take to tour the venues?
The time required will vary depending on the content of the bridal fair. Generally, a complete tour - including viewing the chapel and party venues, a consultation on estimates and plans, and information on available dates - takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.
If you wish to sample our cuisine or try on wedding attire, please allow additional time.
If you have limited time available, we are happy to tailor your visit and focus on the most important points, so please feel free to let your planner know. -
It’s difficult to come on weekends. Is it possible to arrange a consultation on a weekday?
Yes.
Weekday consultations are also available.
Just like on weekends, our dedicated wedding planners will guide you through every detail and ensure you have all the information you need.
Menu tastings and fitting sessions are also available on weekdays, so please feel free to request them. -
It is difficult for me to visit Hokkaido. Are there any bridal fairs in other cities?
Yes.
For your convenience we also offer consultations via Zoom.
Even if you’re unable to visit Nidom in person, rest assured, we can guide you through everything using videos and photographs, so you can experience it with complete peace of mind. -
How will the wedding planning process proceed?
We typically begin planning meetings about three months before your wedding. Your dedicated wedding planner will propose a bespoke plan tailored perfectly to you as a couple.
From the moment you book with us, our experienced planners will assist you every step of the way - from the ceremony and reception, to parties, after-parties, and accommodation arrangements.
For couples who live further away, our planners are well-versed in coordinating via email and phone, ensuring a seamless experience no matter where you are.
(We are also happy to arrange meetings via Zoom if you prefer.)
Your dedicated planner will guide you through every detail, including choices for your wedding attire, photography, floral arrangements, videography, beauty treatments, and more - ensuring nothing is overlooked and every aspect meets the highest standards.
Ceremony/Party
-
How much will it cost?
The total cost depends on the number of guests you wish to invite.
Once we know more about what you want, we’ll prepare a tailored proposal and detailed estimate for you.
We ask that customers make the final payment three days prior to the wedding.
We’re happy to accept payment via bank transfer as well. -
Can we take photos or video inside the chapel?
The taking of photos and/or video in the chapel itself is strictly prohibited.
We appreciate your understanding in preserving the sanctity and atmosphere of the chapel.
If you do wish to capture the ceremony, we highly recommend that you book one of our affiliated professional photographers in advance.
You and your guests are welcome to take photos in the areas outside the chapel. -
Are there any venues available for a post-wedding party or second reception?
The cost will vary according to the number of guests and your chosen format.
We have a casual party plan for couples who hold their wedding ceremony at the Nidom.
We invite you to enjoy a warm, intimate gathering in our cozy cottages nestled in the forest.
Dresses
-
Where do dress fittings take place?
We have a bridal salon within Nidom for your dress selection and fittings.
Additionally, our partner, Ginza Couture Naoco, offers try-ons and dress consultations at locations across Japan.
You can book your fittings either at Nidom or any of their nationwide boutiques. -
Is there a dress code for parents or guests?
While it’s common for fathers to wear a morning suit and mothers to wear traditional tomesode kimono, there are no strict requirements - any formal attire, including Western styles, is perfectly appropriate.
A morning suit does make it easy to distinguish the father of the bride or groom, but ultimately the choice is yours.
Should you require rental options, please feel free to ask. -
Can you arrange dressing and hair styling for our guests?
Absolutely.
We offer dressing and hairstyling services for guests by advance reservation. -
Are there changing rooms for parents and family?
Yes, we provide dedicated changing rooms and lounges for both the bride’s and groom’s families - located both in the main building (B1 level) and within the chapel complex.
We also offer cottage-style waiting rooms, allowing families to relax amid the tranquil forest and take in the soothing scents of nature before the ceremony.
